Lemcke Landscape Inc. is an award-winning landscape design-build company serving the Indianapolis area for more than 30 years. We specialize in high-end residential landscape design, installation, hardscape, outdoor living, and ongoing landscape maintenance .

We are seeking a creative, motivated, and professional Landscape Designer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who wants to be involved in the entire design-build process—from meeting with clients and developing creative concepts to producing detailed plans, estimating projects, and working alongside our installation team to bring those designs to life.

The ideal candidate is passionate about landscape design, has strong communication skills, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working directly with both clients and a seasoned team of landscape professionals.

THE ROLE

As a Landscape Designer, you will be involved in a variety of projects, including:

  • Pool and pool-area landscapes

  • Planting and garden design

  • Landscape renovations and enhancements

  • Select commercial projects

You will work closely with experienced designers, project managers, and installation crews while gaining valuable experience throughout the design-build process .

This position includes a sales and client-development component . The successful candidate will be comfortable meeting with homeowners, understanding their needs and goals, presenting design concepts, discussing project budgets, developing proposals, and helping guide clients from the initial consultation through project completion.

Some on-site project coordination and management will be required as designs are being implemented. This provides an opportunity to see your designs constructed and work directly with the installation team to ensure the finished project reflects the design intent and meets Lemcke's standards for quality.
